Unit Information

Unit: 7 South, 7th Floor, South Tower
Number of Beds: 20
Number of Staff: 20
Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
- Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
Patient Ratio: 1:5
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Preferred experience in:
- Post-Surgical care
- Bariatric care
- Medical/Surgical nursing

Typical Procedures on Unit

Phlebotomy
Wound Care
Tracheostomy Care
NG Tube Management

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support) required

Schedule and Work Environment

Must be available 5 days a week with an open schedule
Every other weekend required
Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
Floating area: Medical-Surgical unit
