Job Details

Certifications & Licenses Required

Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
Maine State Radiologic Technologist license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred

Job Responsibilities

Review patient history and physician's orders
Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
Monitor patient condition continuously and respond to changes appropriately
Prepare equipment and supplies; select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve or report equipment malfunctions
Position patients and perform imaging procedures
Analyze imaging results, identify quality issues, and take corrective actions including re-positioning and repeating procedures
Enter, transmit, and report scan results

Schedule

Varied shifts between 3 PM and 11:30 PM
Every other weekend 7 AM to 7 PM

Experience
