Job Opportunity: RN Electrophysiology

Location: Syracuse, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Position: Electrophysiology Lab RN
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, varied shifts
    • 4 to 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
    • 5 to 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
  • No weekends, no holidays, no on-call required
  • Specialty experience in Electrophysiology required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience with Epic EHR system preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Years of Specialty Experience: Electrophysiology experience required (minimum 1+ year implied by specialty requirement)
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Required Certifications and Credentials

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)

Health and Compliance Requirements

  • COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster proof or approved exemption)
  • MMR vaccination or immunity proof
  • Fit Test (specific mask requirements)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series (no titer acceptance)
  • Influenza vaccine or approved exemption (seasonal)
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA TB test (with chest x-ray if positive)
  • Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
  • Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)
  • 10-panel drug screen (completed within 30 days of start, no THC)

  • Resume and skills checklist (within last year)
  • Professional references (2 required)
  • Confidentiality and security agreements
  • Conflict of Interest Disclosure
  • Criminal background check (last 7 years)
  • Education verification (highest degree or diploma)
  • EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check
  • GSA/OIG exclusion check
  • Integrity and audit services form
  • Joint Commission CORE exam (within last year)
  • National Sex Offender Registry check
  • System access form (completed one week before start)
  • Specialty-specific competency testing (within last year)
  • License/certification verification (dated within 30 days of start)
  • Code of Conduct form
  • I9 verification
