Travel RN Opportunity - Mother/Baby Unit

Location: Kingwood, Texas
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Mother/Baby
Number of Beds: 27
Number of Staff: 50
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 5-7 RNs, 1 PCT
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 5-7 RNs, 1 PCT
Patient Ratios: 6-8 patients per nurse
EMR Systems: CPN, Meditech
Floating Area: APU for moms only

Required Skills & Experience

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Mother/Baby nursing
Preferred Experience: Gynecology (Gyn) experience is a plus
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Active Registered Nurse License

Circumcisions

Work Schedule & Policies

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) per month
Lunch Break: 30 minutes (must clock out) between 18:45-19:15
Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs, no hoodies
Personality Fit: Energetic

This position is ideal for RNs with Mother/Baby experience looking for a travel assignment in a well-staffed unit with a supportive team environment.
