Position Details

• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed
• Unit: 4A (Medical Surgical Floor)
• Number of Beds: 28
• Patient Ratios:

  • PCU: 1:4
  • Telemetry: 1:6
  • Blended sets: 1:5 (experience required)
• EHR System: Meditech
• Patient Population: All ages

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered Nurse license in Virginia
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • HWC (Heart and Stroke Certification)
  • NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certification)
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years Medical Surgical experience required
• Float Requirements: May require travel within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Orientation: Bi-weekly on Tuesdays (Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel)
• Additional Screening: Consent to random drug screening and completion of a criminal questionnaire/consent form required
