Job Opportunity: RN PCU/Telemetry

Location: Barberton, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in PCU/Telemetry
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of RN experience
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable)
  • BLS (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Education: Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE required
• Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to float
  • Solid black scrubs required
  • Return to Office (RTO) due at submission; maximum 7 days allowed
  • No block scheduling requests accepted

Required Credentials & Compliance (Must be current and valid)

• Nursing license verification (state-specific registry)
• Fit test for N95 masks (3M 1870+ N95, Medline Cone Small, 3M 1860 Reg & Small) within one year
• Pre-employment physical with health statement confirming ability to perform essential job functions
• Valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Unit-specific competency exams and skills checklists (updated annually)
• COVID-19 vaccination (fully vaccinated required; exemptions reviewed case-by-case)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • MMR (titer or 2 adult vaccines, no declinations)
  • Hepatitis B (titer or complete vaccine series, signed declinations accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine (required October-April; exemptions require approval)
  • Varicella (titer or 2 adult vaccines, no declinations)
  • Tdap within 10 years (optional)
• Tuberculosis screening:

  • 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with negative results required
  • Annual TB questionnaire (Summa form)
  • If positive PPD, negative chest X-ray within 1 year required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start, updated annually
• Background checks and verifications:

  • FCRA-compliant 7-year criminal background check
  • OIG search within 90 days
  • EPLS search within 90 days
  • Education verification (third-party)
  • Social Security Card or number

Notes

• Candidates with more than 7 days of Return to Office (RTO) will be rejected
• Travelers must complete all required documentation and exams prior to onboarding
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
