Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cleveland, Tennessee
Specialty: Registered Nurse (MS/Post-Op RN - Total Joint)
Shift: 3x12 hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) required
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in an accredited facility specializing in Knee & Hip Arthroplasty (Total Joint)
• First-time travelers are welcome

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
• Prior travel experience not required

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current Tennessee RN License or Compact License
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Checks including:

  • 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
  • SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, FACIS Level 3
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Education Verification (upon request)

Additional Certifications (As Required)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Core HIPAA training and safety manual acknowledgement

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam within last 12 months (not required annually)
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year, updated annually
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• 9 Panel Drug Screen within a year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
• Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination (collected upon client request)

References & History

• Two professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
• Performance evaluations required if worked with the agency over 1 year
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
