Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Pueblo, Colorado

Job Details
- Shift: 4x10 hour days (07:00 - 17:30)
- Days of Week: Monday - Friday (Day shift)
- Weekend Requirement: No
- On-call Requirement: No
- Floating: No floating between units required
- Charting System: Epic/Aria
- Patient Population: Adult Acute Care, all cancer diagnoses
- Special Equipment/Techniques: Truebeam, Hyperarc, Identify, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, DIBH, Orfit setup equipment
Experience & Certification Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years (Adult Acute Care experience required)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not for first-time travelers (prior travel experience required)
- Certifications Required:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ARRT (T) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Therapeutic
- Special Experience: Truebeam experience required
Time Off / Scheduling Notes
- Maximum of 10 Return to Office (RTO) days approved
- RTO not allowed during these blackout periods:
- December 21, 2025 – January 3, 2026
- March 14 – March 21, 2026
- May 8 – May 11, 2026
- May 21 – May 27, 2026
- Flexibility may be considered for harder-to-fill positions
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Background Checks:
- 7-year background check including SSN trace, Colorado state checks, education verification, sex offender search, OFAC sanctions list, etc.
- Licensure & Verification:
- State license verification (Colorado) within 60 days of start
- NURSYS verification for RN/LPN/LVN/AP if applicable
- Health Requirements:
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 12 months and annually (specific mask types required)
- Immunizations and titers: TDAP, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, with annual updates if positive
- Drug testing within 30 days of start and annually
- Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific exemption during flu season
- COVID vaccine documentation or signed declination
- Competency Exams:
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam annually
- Core Part I, II, III exams annually (if applicable)
- OSHA mandatory training annually
- Other Requirements:
- Ishihara color blind exam (no online testing accepted)
- References: 2 references from last 2 years, including one from last year, from charge RN, manager, or supervisor
- Employment history verification for last 3 years with explanations for gaps over 30 days
Additional Notes
- This position is not open to first-time travelers; prior travel experience is required.
- Adult acute care experience and Truebeam proficiency are mandatory.
- No weekend or on-call shifts required.
- The role involves working with cancer patients using advanced radiation therapy technologies.
