Travel RN Opportunity – Mother/Baby Unit

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother & Baby
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Mother & Baby nursing experience
Prior Travel Experience: Must have completed at least two prior travel assignments
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Holiday Requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
On-Call: None
Float Requirements: None

Certifications & Licenses

BLS (AHA only)
Virginia State or Compact Nursing License

Unit Information

Unit: Mother/Baby Nursing
Number of Beds: 24
Patient Ratio: 1:4 couplets (mother and newborn)
EMR System: Epic (required)
Patient Population: New mothers and newborns

Additional Notes

Travel pairs will be considered
Dress code: Navy scrubs, per facility policy

This role is ideal for experienced Mother & Baby RNs who have prior travel experience and are comfortable working night shifts with a consistent weekend and holiday schedule.
