Description

Travel RN - CVOR

Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel

Job Summary

Provide quality, compassionate care by maintaining professional nursing standards and fostering positive therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
Circulate in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
Supervise LPNs, PCAs, Ultrasound Techs, Ortho Techs, and other non-licensed staff.
Provide leadership by delegating standards of care and supporting team members.

Schedule

Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (40 hours weekly)
Every other weekend required
Holidays as required

Education & Licenses

Associate Degree in Nursing required
Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
NURSYS registration required

Certifications

AHA BLS
AHA ACLS or Red Cross equivalent

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred; will consider 18 months under highest professional license.
At least 1 year experience in CVOR specialty required (higher specialty experience requirement prevails).

Dress code: Solid navy scrubs
Guaranteed 36 hours per week
