Job Details
- Position: Pediatric Echo Tech (PEDS experience required)
- Floating: No
- On-call: Yes, rotating weekdays and weekends with additional pediatric call coverage
- Weekends: Yes, rotating

Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Licenses
- State Professional License as applicable
- NURSYS Verification for RNs
- Allied licensure verification as applicable
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background Check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education Verification required for all candidates
- State-specific searches (Oregon Abuse/Neglect, Washington WSP/WATCH, OBRA Registry for CNAs in WA) as applicable
- Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year employment within last 3 years (6 months for CNAs)
- Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format
Health Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit Mask test (N95 or equivalent) required for travel starts after 2/5/2024, updated annually
- Immunizations/Vaccines:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B – vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella – 2 vaccines or positive titer or declination
- Flu Vaccine during flu season (declination acceptable)
- COVID Vaccine or declination
Competency and Skills
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Competency Exams required by specialty/unit (e.g., EFM training for L&D RNs)
- Skills Checklist updated annually for applicable units
Facility Specific Requirements
- Must complete Providence Health and Services Oregon Core and Specialty WorkRamp training modules prior to start
- Epic training modules required for charting system proficiency
- Photo for badge with neutral background required
- Float Policy Acknowledgement required (may be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance)
