• Unit Type: Emergency Room (Department 78077)
• Beds:

  • 48 private rooms
  • 27 hallway stretchers
  • 9 Fast track
  • 5 behavioral health
• Staffing:

  • Total staff: 111
  • Day Shift: Charge nurse + 11, multiple mid-shifts, 2 PCTs, 1 Paramedic, 1 LVN
  • Night Shift: Similar staffing as day shift
• Patient Ratios:

  • Emergency Department: 1:4
  • Behavioral Health: 1:5
  • Cardiac/Trauma: 1:3
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
• EMR System: MEDITECH
• Permanent Positions on Unit: Yes

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH Certification
• PALS
• TNCC
• Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Room nursing specialty

Preferred Skills

• Meditech experience
• Trauma experience
• Inpatient experience
• CPI certification
