Description

EP Tech Travel Job - Bemidji, Minnesota

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology (EP) Tech experience (higher end of 2-5 years preferred)
Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant procedures preferred
Prior travel experience not explicitly required

Certifications and Licenses

Active BLS certification (must be AHA)
RCIS/RCES preferred
Must be willing to obtain the Minnesota Net Study within the first two weeks of acceptance

Job Duties

Assist physicians with EP procedures including typical flutter ablations and atrial fibrillation (a-fib) ablations
Assist with heart catheterization procedures, peripherals, pacemakers
Monitor vitals and perform charting as needed

Epic charting system
MacLab
ACIST injector
CSI
Laser
Shockwave
Balloon pumps
Temporary pacemakers
Impellas
Carto mapping system
Radiofrequency (RF) and Cryoablations

Schedule

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-call 1-2 times per week
Every 4th weekend on call
Late team 1-2 times per week (stay until late procedures are completed)

Additional Information

Must be proficient with sterile technique
Preferred ability to float to cath lab as needed
Unit has 3 Cath Labs
Orientation and training details provided during interview
Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
