Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• WVRT license
• Certified Cardiac Interventional Radiologic Technologist (ARRT CI)
• Accepts ARRT (R), ARRT (CI), ARRT (VI)

Experience & Skills Required

• Experience with:

  • Impella, IABP, INARI devices
  • Electrophysiology procedures including PVC, PT, Cryo or transeptal ablations
  • Laser lead extractions
  • Device work
  • EP recording systems
• Ability to scrub and assist physicians with all EP procedures
• Monitor and circulate cases in EP
• Use of EP recording systems

Equipment / EMR

• Toshiba imaging systems
• Carto mapping system
• Abbott equipment

Work Environment

• 3 Cath Labs / EP suites
• Average 15-18 cases per day
• Cardiology patient population
• Only work in Cath Lab & EP (no floating to other units)

Shifts & Scheduling

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Shift options: Day or Afternoon (rotating shifts 6am-4:30pm or 9am-7:30pm)
• Call required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Orientation provided specific to unit

On-Call Hours

• 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Dress Code

• OR scrubs provided daily

Additional Notes

• Must have ACLS, BLS, and ARRT CI certification verification
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Submission restrictions apply within the WVU system (not relevant for candidate consideration)
