Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT)

Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a temporary assignment in Glendale, AZ. The facility is a Level I Adult Trauma Center with a recently expanded acute-care campus offering state-of-the-art surgical suites, a heart and vascular center, and all-private patient rooms.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
- Prior travel experience required
- PICU/NICU experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
- Active National Board for Respiratory Care Certification required
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Flu vaccination required (declinations accepted with proper documentation)
Other Requirements
- Candidates with an Arizona driver's license will not be considered
- Verification of license must show no hits or issues at time of submission
- Background checks must meet specific compliance requirements
- Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start
- Resume must include all facilities worked, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units
- Skills checklist specific to Registered Respiratory Therapist discipline must be provided
- Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot occur during the first week or holidays of the assignment
Additional Information
- Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date
- All shifts, departments, and locations the candidate is willing to work must be clearly indicated
- The facility is a Level I Adult Trauma Center capable of handling severe trauma cases including car crashes, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, and traumatic brain injuries
