Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC) (Nights)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides professional and comprehensive nursing care within the scope of agency services, focusing on patients requiring skilled clinical care. Responsibilities include:

• Regularly assessing patient needs and providing skilled nursing services as prescribed by physician orders and nursing standards (20%)
• Initiating and revising plans of care for assigned patients (10%)
• Providing medication management and assessing therapeutic responses (35%)
• Coordinating patient care by evaluating outcomes and communicating changes to the care team (15%)
• Collaborating with Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and interdisciplinary team members (15%)
• Notifying physicians of changes in patient condition and obtaining new orders as needed (5%)

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with Long Term Care (LTC) experience
• Years of Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Long Term Care (LTC) required
• Licensure: Active Michigan RN license (LARA and/or Nursys verification required)
• Certifications: Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• References: 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Skills Checklist: Current to within 1 year, pertinent to LTC specialty
• Scheduling: No special scheduling requests will be approved after submission; all requests must be made at time of application
• Location Restriction: Candidates must be outside a 100-mile radius of the facility (local candidates will not be considered)
