Job Opportunity: Travel CST/ORT in Florida (Naples)

Position Details

Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT)
Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM with call
Start Date: ASAP
Floating: Must be willing to float between campuses as needed

Requirements

Certification:
- NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience:
- 3 years in specialty (higher end of 1-3 years required)
- Must have Robotics and Neuro experience
- Comfortable with da Vinci surgical system
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Job Description

Prepare the operating room including sterile field setup
Set up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions
Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during surgery
Manage surgical equipment and sterile field simultaneously
Perform counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects
Certified following completion of a CAAHEP-accredited or equivalent surgical technology program and passing the national CST exam

This position is ideal for a CST with strong robotics and neuro surgical experience looking for a travel assignment in Florida.
