  • 8 RNs
  • 8 Surgical Technologists (STs)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Operating Hours:

  • Day Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (6 rooms)
  • 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (3 rooms)
  • 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (2 rooms)
  • On-call team available after 7:00 PM

Shift Information

• Shift Options: Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
• Call Requirements: Weeknight and weekend call required; only 1 requested shift off allowed between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day
• Shift Start Time: 6:30 AM with a daily huddle at 6:45 AM
• On-call Shifts: Staff self-schedule 1 to 2 on-call shifts per week

Required Skills and Experience

• Must Have:

  • 2 years of OR Circulating Experience at an Acute Care Hospital
  • Varied skill set in General Surgery, ENT, Urology/Gyn, Orthopedics, Robotics
  • CVOR experience
• Preferred:

  • CNOR Certification
  • More than 5 years of experience

• Floating Area: Preop Holding
• Call shifts during the week begin at the end of the regular shift and cover weekends 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
