Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (Travel)

Location: Englewood, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Beds: 100
Staffing: 9 Full-Time Equivalents (FTE)
- Day Shift: 5 RNs, 2 RCIS, 1 Director
Equipment: Cath Lab
Typical Procedures:
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Pacemaker (PPM) insertion
- Stress tests
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Port insertion

Requirements

Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty (highest required)
- Preferred: ICU or Cath Lab experience of at least 1 year
Schedule:
- Must be able to work 4-5 days per week
- Scheduled every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
Personality Fit:
- Team-oriented
- Flexible schedule

Additional Notes

Competitive market; unit encourages candidates with Cath Lab and ICU experience.
