Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Idaho Falls, Idaho
Position Details
- Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Employment Type: Travel
- Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM scheduling also noted)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
- Start Date: ASAP
Facility & Unit Information
- Unit: Respiratory Therapy
- Number of Beds: 350
- Patient Ratios: Variable
- Unit Staffing: 5 Respiratory Therapists per shift
- Equipment Used: Ventilators (Dragers, Hamilton), BiPAP (Hamilton, V60)
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Floating Policy: Not applicable
- Patient Experience: AIDET communication model used
- Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs
Required Certifications & Licenses
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RRT or CRT license/certification
- Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification
Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in respiratory therapy specialty
- Required Skills:
- At least Level II trauma experience
- Experience with pediatrics
- Critical care experience
Procedures & Responsibilities
- ABG (Arterial Blood Gas) draws and analysis
- Ventilator management
- Non-invasive ventilation (NIV)
- High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
- Routine floor care
- Intubation assistance
- Bronchoscopy assistance
- Intra-hospital patient transportation
