• Specialized services include Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery and High-risk Obstetrical Care
• Wide range of specialties including Surgical Services, Trauma, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Neuro, and more

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (Surgical Services)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, varied shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, 3-11, and weekend daylight shifts
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
• Call Requirements: Yes, 1-2 times per week, 8-hour call increments
• Float Requirements: As needed
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: All ages
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Number of Beds in Unit: 22
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse license valid in Pennsylvania
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC
• Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years (higher end of 1-2 years range)
• Must be willing to accept on-call and off shifts
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Preferred Experience

• Charge nurse experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Robotic surgery experience

• Orthopedics, Gynecology, Obstetrics, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Urology, Breast, Podiatry

Work Environment and Dress Code

• Scrub color: Blue (provided)
• No casual wear allowed

Additional Notes

• Candidates must complete all required clearances and screenings prior to start, including Pennsylvania fingerprinting and child abuse history clearance
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Travel candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify
