Facility & Unit Information

• Facility includes multiple specialized centers such as Brain, Cancer, Heart, Lung, Orthopedics, Surgical Weight Loss, Women’s Center, and Level 3 NICU
• Behavioral Health Unit: 5 units with bed counts of 23, 20, 15, 13, and 10 beds respectively
• Patient Ratios:

  • 23 patients: 2 RNs and 4 CNAs
  • 20 patients: 2 RNs and 2 CNAs
  • 15 patients: 1 RN and 2 CNAs
  • 13 patients: 1 RN and 2 CNAs
  • 10 patients: 1 RN and 2 CNAs
• Patient Population: Adult Behavioral Health
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments:

  • Schizophrenia
  • Dementia
  • Manic Bipolar Disorder
  • Psychosis
  • Dual Diagnosis
  • Medical Detox
  • Depression and Anxiety Disorders
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Cerner

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse License
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI) or Handle with Care certification (training available if not currently certified)
• Prior travel experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
• Call Requirements: No call required

Additional Notes

• Dress Code: Any color scrub acceptable
• Training available for CPI certification if needed

This position is ideal for RNs with at least 2 years of behavioral health experience seeking a travel assignment in a well-equipped adult behavioral health setting.
