Travel CST/ORT Opportunity - Wichita, Kansas

Position Details

Specialty: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), no night shift (call only)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Beds: 2 heart rooms with a possible 3rd
Staff: 4 RNs, 3 CSTs
Equipment: EMR system - Meditech

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as a CST/ORT (CVOR experience required; no training provided)
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Meditech EMR system

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR)
