Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) - Temp, Inpatient (Days)

Location: Mattoon, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Physical Therapists plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function. Responsibilities include:

• Therapeutic exercise
• Neuromuscular re-education
• Physical modalities
• Gait training
• Manual techniques

Therapists must demonstrate effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to motivate patients and provide compassionate care.

Requirements

• Specialty: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1+ years of PT experience required
• Licensure: Active Illinois Physical Therapist License required
• Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS required
• Work History: Skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to Physical Therapy
• References: 2 supervisory reference forms with dates of employment required
• Geographic Restriction: Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are NOT eligible
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Additional Information

• EMR system used: Cerner
• Nonbillable hours: 16 hours
• Overtime/Holiday pay: 1.25x regular rate
• Call back pay: 1.3x regular rate
• On-call rate: nominal additional pay
