Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - OR (Travel Position)

Location: Winchester, Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Role: CVOR Scrub Tech (CST/OR)
• Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Scrub Tech
• Employment Type: Travel
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4x10-hour shifts) with rotating days off
• On-Call: 6-13 on-call shifts within a 4-week period, including weekends and holidays
• Float: May float to Main OR for Vascular and Thoracic cases if no vascular cases available

Experience & Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a CVOR Scrub Tech
• Preferred Experience: Cardiac experience in first and second scrub assisting
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (AHA only)
  • NBSTSA Certificate
  • Virginia State License (or status of license)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Unit & Patient Information

• Unit: Surgical Services – CVOR
• Patient Population: Adult
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Equipment: Cardiac equipment including IABP, ECMO, Atricure Cryoablation Machine
• Number of Beds: 1-2

Additional Details

• Dress Code: Scrub color is Ceil Blue; must adhere to facility dress code policy
• Must submit work experience as CVOR Tech and VA license status with application
