Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care. You will focus on quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN role includes supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, applying evidence-based practice, and participating in a Practice Governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, making sound independent decisions.
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
• Provide and evaluate education tailored to patient and family needs during the stay and at discharge.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor.
• Promote teamwork and communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards.
• Engage in the Practice Governance model.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years acute care RN experience.
