Job Description

  • Work in PACU at an outpatient surgery center
  • No call, no weekends, no holidays
  • No more than 2-3 consecutive weekday return-to-office (RTO) days

Experience Requirements

Background and Compliance Checks

  • 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start

  • State-specific checks for Texas (DADS Employability Status and Employee Misconduct Registry) required within 30 days of start

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract)
  • Fit mask (3M 1860 Regular or 1860S) within 12 months, updated annually
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (PPD or Quantiferon Gold/T-Spot) within 1 year
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella - positive titer or 2 vaccines required; MMR booster if titers negative/equivocal
  • Hepatitis B - positive titer, series, or declination accepted; booster if low/equivocal titer
  • Varicella - positive titer or 2 vaccines required; booster if titers negative/equivocal
  • Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen with THC within 10 business days prior to start; facility drug screen upon arrival mandatory
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31), with religious or medical exemptions accepted
