Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and implement patient and family education, and initiate appropriate interventions. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, individualized care planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing, Associate degree, or Diploma
- Montana Registered Nurse Licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum 18 months of Registered Nurse experience (1.5 years)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
- 1 year circulating experience
- 1 year scrub experience

- Develop and implement individualized care plans

- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Integrate ethical and research-based practices into nursing care
- Provide leadership within the professional practice setting

Stroke Competency
- Comply with policies and protocols for hyperacute and acute stroke care
- Complete 2 hours of initial stroke education within one year of hire
- Participate in 1 hour of annual stroke education
Shift Details
- Variable day shifts with on-call responsibilities
- Flexibility to cover all shifts is required
Additional Information
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
- Candidates must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered
