Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapy Specialist

Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with full lifespan patient care (pediatrics, adults, geriatrics)
• Active Illinois nursing license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), PALS, NRP, and RRT (CRT also accepted)
• EPIC electronic health record experience

Technical Skills

• Proficient in tracheostomy care, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques
• Experience with ECMO and critical care
• Knowledge of ventilator-associated pneumonia prevention and spontaneous breathing trials
• Skilled in arterial blood gas (ABG) draws

Additional Information

• 1:1 patient ratios
• Specific uniform requirement: charcoal gray scrubs
