Job Description

• Med/Tele RN needed
• General duties include:

  • CBI (Continuous Bladder Irrigation)
  • Wound management
  • Patient assessments
  • Catheter care
  • Orthopedics care
• Equipment used: EPIC electronic health record system

Licensure & Certifications

• Must have a WV or compact state nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: MedSurg / Tele with 10 years of experience required

Schedule & Work Environment

• 12-hour shifts
• No call required
• Floating to Telemetry unit possible but not mandatory
• Unit size: 16 beds
• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5 (night shift 7pm to 7am)
• Rotating weekends and holidays

Additional Requirements

• EPIC experience required
• Must provide an unexpired driver’s license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility
• Submission must include resume, references, skills, and all time off
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

This position is suitable for experienced MedSurg/Telemetry RNs looking for a 13-week contract in West Virginia with a focus on patient care in a 16-bed unit.
