Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Intensive/Critical Care, you will be accountable for the care of a group of patients, focusing on safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities include supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, applying evidence-based practice, and promoting quality outcomes. The RN will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, emphasizing patient comfort, education, and satisfaction. Mentoring and precepting staff are also key components of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and reassessments according to policy or patient condition
• Develop, prioritize, and implement care plans; collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions
• Provide and evaluate education tailored to patient and family needs during stay and at discharge
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as mentor/preceptor
• Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
• Comply with regulatory standards and participate in Practice Governance

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
