Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Night Shift)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Permanent
Job Description
- Perform medical imaging procedures (routine radiography) for diagnosis or treatment in a clinical setting.
- Utilize expertise in patient handling, physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiology to:
- Assess patients
- Develop optimal radiologic techniques or plans
- Evaluate resulting radiographic images
- Perform minor clinical clerical duties.
- May float to any of 7 clinic locations to provide coverage during staff absences or vacancies.
- Reports to Medical Imaging Manager with indirect reporting to Clinic Administrator.
Schedule
- 0.8 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent)
- Night shift: Four 12-hour night shifts per pay period plus two 8-hour PM or day shifts
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program
- 0-2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting (higher value interpreted as 2 years)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Licensed by the State of Wisconsin
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Radiologic Technologist experience
- Knowledge of Epic Ambulatory EMR, RIS, and PACS systems
