Job Opportunity: MRI Tech - Radiology

Location: Roswell, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide timely MRI imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
• Manage all MRI exams for Emergency Room, Inpatient, and Outpatient settings.
• Ability to adjust imaging parameters for studies of soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast media.
• Equipment used: GE Signa 1.5T MRI machine.
• Work Schedule: Days, 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturday through Monday.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1.
• Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner.
• Scrub Color: Navy blue.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of MRI Tech experience required.
• Must be proficient in all MRI exams.
• New Mexico state license and MRI certification required.
• Preferred but not required: Graduate of an accredited AMA school, registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT, and maintain a State License as a general radiographer.

Additional Information

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are NOT approved.
• Blocked scheduling may be approved upon request.
• Maximum Return to Office (RTO): Minimal.
