Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent ER experience (defaulting to the higher requirement)
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an ED with annual visits around 28,000 or higher
• Trauma level III or higher experience preferred
• Licenses & Certifications:

  • MN State RN License (required at time of submission)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • TNCC

Prior Travel Experience

Job Details

• Shift Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts, rotating day, evening, and night
  • Every other to every third weekend
  • No call requirement
• Floating: May float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units as needed
• Unit Details:

  • 15-bed Emergency Department with 4 fast track rooms and 1 triage area
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
• Work Environment:

  • Use of EPIC and Accudose systems (training provided during orientation)
  • Scrub color: Navy Blue
  • Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Additional Notes:

  • Must indicate if previously worked for the health system; if yes, last end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission
  • Manager will contact for interview prior to offering position

Summary

This is a 13-week ER RN contract position in Bemidji, MN requiring at least 2 years of recent ER experience and multiple advanced certifications. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts with no call, working in a busy trauma level III or higher ED. Prior travel experience is not required.
