Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology (IR) (Days)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Job Description
- Provide quality nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients in the Radiology Department.
- Responsibilities include assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, and management of patient nursing care within:
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Special Procedures
- Fluoroscopy
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear Medicine
- Mammography
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Must be prepared to handle unexpected emergencies during radiological procedures.
- Develop clinical protocols, policies, and procedures related to radiological interventional procedures, patient monitoring, and drug administration.
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
- Familiarity with patient’s bill of rights and ability to seek assistance to ensure individualized care.

Work Environment
- EMR system: Epic
- Dress code: Traveler provided professional scrubs (no logos)
- Block scheduling will NOT be accommodated.
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed. RTO requests after offer acceptance will NOT be approved.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years Interventional Radiology experience (required)
- Minimum 2+ years current experience in Critical Care, ICU, ER, or PACU (required)
- Skills:
- EPIC experience (required)
- Experience in Conscious/Moderate Sedation (preferred)
- Licenses & Certifications:
- New Hampshire RN License or Compact License (must be uploaded with profile)
- American Heart Association BLS (required)
- American Heart Association ACLS (required)
- Must have own vehicle (strongly required)
- Permanent address must be included in profile
- All medical compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel experience preferred (not required)
Additional Notes
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will NOT be considered.
- All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; no scheduling changes after offer acceptance.
- Non-billable orientation: 0 hours
- Overtime and holiday multipliers apply as per facility policy.
