Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Acute Care
• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 6-7:1
• Staffing: No unit secretaries (HUC), no tech or extra RN when no tech available
• Equipment: Standard Medical/Surgical
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Scheduling: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (3 12’s)
• Floating Policy: Rare
• Patient Population: Affluent community with concierge-level service expected

Required Skills and Experience

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIH Certification
• Licensure: Registered Nurse License
• Experience:

  • Care of geriatric patients or past inpatient rehab experience (Swing Bed Patients)
• Advanced Skills: Wound Care
• Procedures: Minor procedures performed on unit
