Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Richardson, Texas

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
• Certifications:

  • ARRT Radiography (R) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on unit
  • Other certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM)
• Skills:

  • EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Work Schedule:

  • On-call and weekends required
  • Call frequency: 9-11 days per month, minimum 1 call weekend per month

Compliance & Documentation

• Valid government-issued photo ID or passport required
• I9 or attestation required
• E-Verify or attestation required
• Background checks within 30 days of start, including:

  • 7-year county criminal background search
  • Sex offender search
  • State police investigation for behavioral health (if applicable)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation, updated annually
• Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months, updated annually
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series and/or positive titer or signed declination)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
  • Varicella
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no rapid screens)
• Two professional references within 3 years required

Additional Notes

• Candidates must be prepared for medication and dysrhythmia/EKG competency exams with limited attempts allowed
• Photo for badge (passport style) required
• Candidates must sign facility-specific job description and exemption forms if applicable
