Job Opportunity: PT Outpatient (Therapy/Rehabilitation)
Location: Odessa, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Start date on or before March 3
- Outpatient schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Primary focus on outpatient setting with possible flexibility to acute care
- Coverage for weekends/holidays in acute care as needed
- Interview available upon candidate request
Required Experience
- Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation

- National Tech Certification Verification - required within 30 days of start
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required for RNs (if applicable)
- Competency Exams as applicable by profession
Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check required within 30 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Drug testing required (10-panel negative screen within 30 days of start)
- I9 or attestation required
- Government-issued photo ID required
- E-Verify or attestation required
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required, updated annually
- Facility-specific documents including Standards of Conduct, Dress Code Policy, Standards of Behavior, COVID declination (if applicable), HIPAA and Fair Warning Quiz, Orientation and Safety Training Modules, Annual TB Questionnaire
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
- Fit test within 1 year, updated annually (N-95 masks accepted; PAPR not accepted)
- Immunizations and titers required within 72 hours of contract signing or as noted:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year; chest X-ray within 2 years if positive)
- Rubeola (Measles) - positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Mumps - positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Rubella - positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Hepatitis B - positive titer, series, or declination
- Varicella - positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster if low/equivocal)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (Oct-April); mask required if declination submitted
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references within 3 years of start
- Resume or employment application required
- Annual skills checklist update required
Schedule & Work Environment
- Primarily outpatient physical therapy
- Possible acute care coverage including weekends and holidays
- Monday through Thursday full days, Friday half day
