Job Opportunity: PT Inpatient Rehab (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call Requirements: None
• Weekend Requirements: 1 Saturday per month
• Holiday Requirements: None
• Work Setting: Primarily outpatient with some inpatient treatments; clinician will be primarily responsible for outpatient PT services. No outpatient neuro population.
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Experience & Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 3 years in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Certifications Required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • State Physical Therapy License
• Dress Code: Gray scrubs or business casual
• Charting Systems: Redoc (Outpatient), Cerner (Inpatient)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background check covering last 7 years and all states lived/worked in, required within 90 days of start
• Education verification or copy of diploma/transcripts required
• Physical exam required
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (2-step PPD or Qgold accepted; T-Spot not accepted)
• TB questionnaire required prior to start and annually
• Immunizations or titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (includes amphetamines, cannabinoids, MDMA, methamphetamines, buprenorphine, oxycodone, fentanyl, cocaine, methadone, tramadol, benzodiazepines, morphine/opiate)
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start (flu season October–May)

Additional Notes

• COVID-19 and flu vaccine exemptions (medical or religious) must be documented and approved
• Facility requires completion of online modules prior to start (approx. 8-10 hours), paid time, due by Friday 1 PM CST before start date
• Passport-style photo required for badge
• Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement must be signed prior to start

This position offers a structured outpatient/inpatient PT role with a reputable healthcare system, suitable for therapists with at least 3 years of experience and valid licensure, open to first-time travel therapists.
