Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Inpatient Rehab Speech Therapy
• Number of Beds: 44
• Staffing: 2 speech therapists (day shift only)
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:8 to 1:10
• Equipment Used: MBS Suite, Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, Bioness BITs
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Yes

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Typical Procedures:

  • Evaluation and treatment of multiple diagnoses including swallowing and speech-language disorders
  • Conducting Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies

Requirements

• Licensure: Virginia SLP License required
• Certifications: ASHA Certification, BLS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology
• Population: Experience with adult medical patients required
• Preferred Experience:

  • Neuro experience
  • Inpatient rehab experience
