Job Opportunity: Certified Counselor - Behavioral Health

Location: Newport, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Job Summary

Provide direct services to clients within Treatment and Recovery Services and Behavioral Health programs, utilizing trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. Work involves both residential and outpatient settings as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on substance use treatment for adults and their families.

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor Level I (CADC I) or National Certification Addiction Counselor I (NCAC I) required
Higher certification (CADC II, NCAC II, or above) preferred
Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
Experience and/or training in computer applications required
Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
