Description

Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Specialty

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Required Years of Experience: 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience (highest requirement)
  • NICU/PICU experience required
  • Advanced skills needed: Current NICU/PICU experience

Certifications & Licenses

  • Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification required
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS

Unit Information

  • Unit: Respiratory - NICU/PICU
  • Level 3 NICU, Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Equipment used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo’s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
  • Documentation system: Meditech (preferred experience)
  • Floating policy: May provide coverage for adult floors (nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.)

Skills & Requirements

  • Must have: BLS, NRP, PALS certifications
  • Preferred: Previous Meditech experience
  • Procedures: Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced technologies and medication delivery
  • Personality fit: Team player, critical thinker, patient care focused, adaptable to fast-paced and changing environments
  • Multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to patient care

Dress Code

  • Required uniform color: Light Gray (Silver)

Note: There is no indication that prior travel experience is required for this position.
