Job Opportunity: RN - Dialysis (Travel)
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Position involves working as a Dialysis RN with responsibilities including preparing and performing dialysis treatments (both bedside and peritoneal dialysis).
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
- Work schedule options: 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Holiday shifts as required.
- Weekend schedule: Every other weekend.
- Dialysis units located on two campuses with varying hours and call responsibilities.
- Clinical setting with patient-facing duties.
Requirements
Education & Licenses
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
- Certification in AHA BLS or Red Cross required.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- At least 1 year of experience specifically in dialysis.
- Professional Nursing Certification preferred.
Additional Skills
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
Work Environment & Other Details
- Clinical role using Meditech EMR.
- Dress code: Solid navy scrubs.
- Must be willing to float to other units/hospitals.
- Parking available.
- Not a remote position.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks (approximately 3 months).
