Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech - Radiology

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Mammography, Breast Center
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend: Optional, one Saturday per month offered
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: No

Experience & Certifications

• Required Years of Experience: 2 years in mammography
• Certifications:

  • ARRT-Mammo (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Mammography)
  • ISDH Tech License (Indiana State Department of Health)
• Skills:

  • Proficient in screening mammography procedures
  • Preferred: Experience with Hologic mammography equipment
  • Preferred: Breast ultrasound or diagnostic breast imaging skills

• Number of Beds: 225
• Patient Type: Outpatient
• Staffing: 10 Mammography Techs on day shift
• Equipment: Hologic Mammography system
• EMR System: EPIC

• Motivated, proficient technologist
• Team-oriented, able to complete imaging exams timely
• Willingness to fill in various shifts if staffing issues arise

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience explicitly required
• No call or weekend mandatory shifts
• Reporting location: 2nd floor Cancer Center, Breast Center Department

This position is ideal for a Mammography Tech with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT-Mammo certification, and proficiency in screening mammography, looking for a travel contract in a supportive outpatient breast center environment.
