Description

Job Opportunity: Med Surg RN 36 Nights

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Required Credentials & Certifications

  • BLS Certification (AHA and ARC acceptable)
  • Rhode Island Nursing License (Nursys verification and RI license verification required)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster (Medical exemptions reviewed prior to start)
  • MMR (Proof of 2 immunizations or positive titer)
  • Fit Test for N95 Mask (3M models; must be within 1 year of start)
  • Hepatitis B (Complete vaccination series or declination; titers not accepted)
  • Influenza Vaccine (Required annually from 10/1 to 6/30; no exemptions)
  • Driver's License or State ID
  • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) (Within 1 year)
  • Varicella (Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or history)
  • Tdap (Immunization within last 10 years)

Professional Requirements

  • CNE Profile/Resume (Required for submission)
  • CNE RI Fingerprinting (Must be done in RI within 30 days of start)
  • Criminal Background Check (Federal, County, National, Statewide with OIG, NSO, GSA/SAM; within 6 months)
  • Orientation Packet Completion (Testing and forms to be signed prior to start)
  • Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement (Must be signed before start)
  • Skills Checklist (Required for submission)
  • Specialty Competency Exam (Required before or at onboarding)
  • Basic EKG Exam (Required before or at onboarding)
  • Pharmacology Exam (Required before or at onboarding)
  • Core Competencies (Required before or at onboarding)
  • COVID-19 Screening Form (Completed at time of hire)
  • Annual COVID and Flu Policy Form
  • 2 Professional References (Minimum 1 supervisory)
  • Employment Verification (Last 5 years)
  • BSN Degree (Copy of diploma or transcripts required)
  • Work Attestation Form (Required for submission)
  • Badge Photo (Neutral background, forward facing)
  • Occupational Health Clearance Form (Required upon acceptance)

Additional Health Requirements

  • If history of positive PPD or TB blood test: Negative chest X-ray, annual TB questionnaire, and documentation clearing active disease required.
