Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Position

Location: Springfield, Missouri
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital specializing in recovery from strokes, brain/spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
Accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Position Details

Role: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None
Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 years and older)
Patient Ratios: 7 patients to 1 PTA
Number of Beds: 60
Equipment Used: EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, Body weight support
Electronic Health Records (EHR): UDS and Epic

Requirements

Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
Must Have Skills/Experience: Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings required
Required Certifications: None specified
Prior Travel Experience: Not required
Personality Fit: Strong teamwork, communication skills, work ethic, and responsibility
Required Education: PTA licensure (implied by role)
