Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Ocala, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Overview

• Unit: Operating Room
• Number of Beds: 15 OR suites
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 in OR
• Staffing: Secretary manager, charge nurse, coordinators, RN, ST, OR aides
• Equipment: All service lines except burns and transplants
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling & Floating: Varies based on need
• Patient Experience Requirements: Varies based on need
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility
• Unit Policies: Follow AORN requirements
• Awards: Leapfrog A facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OR specialty
• Must be able to respond to on-call within 30 minutes

Skills & Procedures

• Advanced skills in robotic surgery and various specialties including:

  • Orthopedics
  • Neurosurgery
  • Plastic surgery
  • Trauma
  • Urology
  • Gynecology
  • General surgery
• Access to advanced robotic systems: 3 robots including Davinci, MAKO, and Mazor
