Job Opportunity: Temporary Physical Therapist (PT) - Inpatient (Days)

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in an inpatient setting.
• Deliver direct patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment.
• Use various therapy modalities as part of treatment.
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable.
• Shift: Block schedule with 10-12 hour shifts; 32-hour workweek guaranteed (40 hours not available).
• No shift accommodation requests will be considered.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current physical therapy experience.
• Setting: Inpatient experience required.
• Education: Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensure: Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required.
• Documentation:

  • Work history and skills checklist relevant to physical therapy (current within 1 year).
  • Signed supervisory reference from within the past two years.
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system.
• Additional:

  • Must include permanent address and any requested time off (RTO) at time of application.
  • Scheduling requests must be submitted with application; no changes allowed after offer.
