Job Opportunity: Outpatient Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Outpatient Physical Therapist needed
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• No travel pairs allowed for this assignment
• Locals are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in outpatient Physical Therapy
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Physical Therapist or eligible for state licensure examination
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
• Cerner experience preferred but not required
• Professional dress code: No scrubs; khaki, navy, or black pants with gray, black, blue, or white shirt. Collared shirts preferred but not required. No t-shirts allowed.

Certifications & Licensure

• Current unrestricted NC Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure exam
• BLS Certification (ARC, AHA, or US Department of Defense accepted)

Background & Compliance

• 7-year criminal background check within 12 months of start, updated annually
• E-Verify proof or attestation required
• Drug screening (10 panel with PH check and adulterants) within 21 days before start
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands, updated annually
• TB screening and risk assessment prior to start
• Immunizations and titers required or documentation for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (updated every 10 years)
• Flu vaccination required unless approved medical or religious exemption is provided
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety training prior to start
• Compliance with facility-specific policies including flu and COVID exemption forms if applicable
• Must carry government-issued photo ID during hours of service
