Job Opportunity: RN - Long Term Care (LTC)

Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Long Term Care (LTC)
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in LTC nursing (elderly & dementia)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• Number of Openings: 1
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Shift Hours:

  • Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend and holidays
• On-Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Expected to rotate shifts if needed

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (AHA only)
• West Virginia State or Compact Nursing License
• WV Cares Certification

Unit Information

• Unit: Extended Care
• Number of Beds: 30
• Patient Ratios:

  • Day: 1 nurse to 15 patients
  • Night: 1 nurse to 30 patients
• Patient Population: Elderly patients, including those with dementia
• EMR System: PCC (Point Click Care)
• Specialty Equipment: Maxi Move, Sara Steady

Dress Code

• Scrubs of any color accepted, must be clean, neat, and tidy
• Adherence to facility dress code policy required
